On a very interesting note, a participant from 2005, Mary O’Connell has opened a gallery herself in Hudson, New York. Take a peek at her ImariArts Gallery: www.imariarts.com. She features her own needle and quilt work alongside Orcadian Stewart Moar’s dragons, and the paintings of four other North American artists who visited Orkney in 2005. There is a small tower shaped room that features my own white line woodprints.
